Dr Louwen Heng BOH(DSc), GDip(Dent)
Principal Dentist
Dr Louwen Heng has a passion for family dentistry and will have even the most anxious patient walking out with a smile. Dr Heng believes in the importance of prevention and his conservative approach will help you to give your teeth their best life.
Louwen enjoys a variety of procedures and has a particular interest in dental surgery. He keeps his surgical knowledge and techniques up to date . His patients frequently comment on their surprise at how quickly and painlessly their wisdom teeth are removed.
Dr Heng has spent time refining his skills in cosmetic restorations in inner-city Melbourne. Practicing in suburbs including Essendon, Collingwood and Carlton, he is known for providing quality dental care to people from all walks of life; from AFL players and TV presenters to regular, everyday families.
Louwen loves being involved with community and using his knowledge and skills to empower others. As part of the PMMT dental team in 2016, he provided emergency dental services to the Caloocan and Pasig districts in the Philippines. He also led the dental branch of an outreach trip to the remote valley of Chatkal, Kyrgyzstan in 2014.
Outside of dentistry, Louwen likes spending time with family and friends. He is an active member of his local church and enjoys a casual kick of the footy.
